Job Purpose:

The core purpose of this role is to lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of performance measurement and analytics within Corporate Procurement. As a key member of the Performance Management team, you will design and implement the Procurement Performance Management strategy—covering areas such as Time, Improvement, Scope, Goals, Efficiency, Monitoring, Priorities, and the Balanced Scorecard.

You will help bring the Procurement organization from Good to Great by applying DPDHL’s continuous improvement tools and methodologies, along with sourcing best practices. Supporting capability development through the delivery of training and knowledge-sharing across the sourcing community will also be a vital part of your contribution.

Your tasks:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage key projects aligned with the DPDHL Procurement Strategy 2030.
  • Define and implement effective performance management frameworks, including SMART KPIs, metrics, tools, and dashboards for evaluating procurement effectiveness.
  • Drive change management and embed a culture of performance improvement across the sourcing function.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across global procurement functions, regions, categories, and business units with a global, cross-functional mindset.
  • Support colleagues by explaining relevant policies, procedures, data insights, and action plans.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business priorities and address concerns proactively.
  • Ensure high-quality, timely execution of tasks using a Right 1st Time approach.
  • Apply advanced data analysis techniques to assess sourcing performance, identify risks, and support decision-making.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scorecards, dashboards, and key performance indicators related to procurement quality and efficiency.
  • Establish processes for gathering, validating, and analyzing performance data related to procurement strategies, policies, and service outcomes.
  • Benchmark internal sourcing KPIs against industry best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote performance awareness by delivering training, coaching, and analytical support to the global sourcing community.
  • Develop an annual performance roadmap with clear priorities based on internal data and strategic goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of executive performance reports aligned with leadership expectations.
  • Identify gaps in performance monitoring, assess their impact, and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with 3+ years of experience in Procurement, particularly in performance management and process optimization.
  • Strong project management skills—experienced in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives under time pressure.
  • Skilled communicator with an advisor mindset, confident in working with senior stakeholders across global teams.
  • Agile and adaptable; thrives in dynamic, fast-changing environments with a strong customer focus.
  • Collaborative and motivating team player with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
  • Comfortable driving new ideas and influencing others with data-backed insights.
  • Knowledge of Coupa, Jaggaer (BravoSolution), and tools like Power BI is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar are beneficial.
