GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Arkansas Federal Credit Union is seeking a copywriter to join our growing marketing team. You’ll plan, research, develop and write sales and marketing copy in line with our organizational objectives and within our brand voice and guidelines. Your projects will be primarily digital ads, but also cover social media posts, radio, billboards, signage, banners, direct mail and more. Collaboration is key and you must be able to work as a team player and participate in meetings and projects. Flexibility, creativity, and a good sense of humor helps!



Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Concept and write copy for digital and traditional media including promotional projects, marketing collateral, media advertising, websites, direct mail, email, landing pages, SEO, social media and more.  
  2. Interpret campaign briefs to understand project requirements.
  3. Research competitors to understand key messages and communication strategy.
  4. Prioritize, focus and multi-task, and work as a team.
  5. Take direction and work within design standards set for our brand.
  6. Take constructive criticism and apply it to projects.
  7. Take on duties as assigned, work with deadlines, and good attention to detail.
  8. Work with a variety of creative specs and requirements.
  9. Skilled in internal and external collaboration.
  10. Clearly communicate information in writing, via phone or in-person.
  11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.


Qualifications



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional writing skills with an eye for detail
  • Experience producing copy for digital and print media channels
  • Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, proofing skills, and open to feedback

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Writing, Marketing, Advertising or related field. One to six years Copywriting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, and Outlook. Experience with Asana, or Monday.com is a plus.
