Job Description Summary
The University of South Alabama’s department of Enrollment Services is seeking to hire a Program Associate, Enrollment Services. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
- Hosts, assists, and presents to individuals, groups, and families during campus and virtual visits.
- Collaborates with New Student Recruitment to keep presentations and publications up-to-date.
- Attends New Student Recruitment meetings and provides updates/reports.
- Manages website and calendar updates.
- Manages media, website, publications, and communications for programs and events.
- Assists with all components of the New Student Orientation programs, with specific tasks as assigned by the Director.
- Assists with all components of special events within Enrollment Services with specific tasks as assigned by the Director.
- Provides general supervision of and guidance to student employees.
- Works collaboratively with the unit and all of Enrollment Services to provide top-level hospitality to guests and to achieve high event/visit/tour/presentation yields.
- Exhibits exceptional presentation, communication (oratory and written), and organizational skills for engagement in-person and virtually.
- Counsels prospective students and families on admissions policies and standards, student life, etc., in-person and via email, phone call, text or mail, using Slate CRM and Banner ERP.
- Communicates with other units on campus and community partners concerning program needs and attending meetings as needed and in the absence of the Coordinator.
- Works closely with the offices within Enrollment Services and across the university to ensure optimum service is provided to assist in meeting university enrollment goals.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
- Related duties as required.
