Job Summary:

The Electrical & InstrumentationDrafter will be responsible for preparing 3D models and 2D drawings for thedesign of complex offshore/onshore E&I systems utilizing CAD software.

Job Duties andResponsibilities:

• Prepare3D models and 2D drawings for assigned projects from information suppliedand/or verbal instructions with little supervision required.

• Editdrawings and incorporate changes from provided markups and/or verbalinstructions.

• Reviewinformation received from design team members, question inconsistencies,apparent errors, and omissions.

• Interactwith design team and clients for resolving drafting/design related issues.

• Ensurethat all drawings adhere to Client, Industry and Company Standards.

• Maintainproject files and folders and follow company standards.

• Responsiblefor keeping Project Leads updated on all concerns relating to their respectiveassignments.

• CreateElectric Area Classification Plans and Details.

• Calculateconduit and fittings size, with minimum guidance.

• Sizecable fittings, with minimum guidance.

• Routecables in cable tray systems using cable schedules, with minimum guidance.

• Calculatecable tray fill, with minimum guidance.

• CreateTray Routing Plans.

• CreateInstrument Location Plan drawings using GA's, piping plans, etc.

• UnderstandInstrument Cable Block diagrams.

• CreateInstrument Installation Details using engineering data sheets, with minimumguidance.

• Performfield work as required to obtain accurate information and create sketches forthe design of the project. Duration determined by the project requirements andproject management.

• Performcorrections to the following drawings: P&ID's, Grounding Plan, CableRouting Plans, Tray Plans, Wiring Diagrams, Schematics, Panel Layouts, E&IDetails, Building Layouts, and Loop Diagrams.

Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Requiresaccredited drafting training and discipline training or have prior working experience.

• Requiresa minimum of three (3) years with less than five (5) years of drafting anddesign experience relating to Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas facilities.

• Musthave a working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Proficientin (AutoCAD).

• Workingknowledge in one or more of these drafting software programs is required: E3D, Plant3D,CADWorx, SolidWorks, Navisworks.

• Workingknowledge in (E3D Cabling System, and SmartPlant SPI) is highly preferred.

• Strongunderstanding of P&ID's.

• Working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems

• Workingknowledge of OSHA, NEMA, ISA & ANSI.

• Workingknowledge of API RP 500, API RP 14F.

• Workingknowledge of Electrical Codes NEC and IEC.

Working Conditions:

• Workis primarily conducted in an office environment (Private, Semi-Private Officeor office cubicle) but may also require occasional travel to off-site worklocations.

• Fieldduties require outdoor work in a plant or offshore platform atmosphere.

• Interactionwith other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel.

• Workingoffshore or in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extremenoise levels.

• Mustbe able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department forpersonal protection.

• Maybe at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climatechanges.

• Maybe required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
