WEB MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST - School of Law



The University of Pittsburgh School of Law seeks a Temporary Website Maintenance Specialist to maintain and enhance the school’s websites. This role involves close collaboration with the marketing and IT teams to ensure high-quality web content and effective use of the Drupal content management system (CMS). The specialist will manage the completion of recent website migration, address client feedback, and provide technical support to optimize the school’s website performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management: Maintain and update website content using Drupal CMS, including content migration and page creation within branded templates. Periodic work with Pitt Law’s Office of the Registrar to maintain courses and curriculum pages.

Website Enhancement: Assist with completing, improving, and maintaining law school websites.

Content Development: Edit and write web content, ensuring consistency and alignment with branding standards.

Technical Development: Execute web application programming and back-end development tasks.

Web Updates: Implement routine updates and maintain consistency across all pages.

Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and collaborate with vendors, including Everspring, to resolve issues.

SEO and Analytics: Analyze site traffic metrics and implement strategies to improve search engine optimization (SEO) and online visibility.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in web development or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Drupal CMS and expertise in web content management.

Project Leadership: Strong project management skills with a proven ability to deliver timely results.

Customer Service: Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively support stakeholders.
