Position Summary:
As a Pavement Project Manager and Design Engineer at Mantis Innovation, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of asphalt and concrete paving projects. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, cost tracking, and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a combination of construction expertise, project management skills, and effective communication to drive high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities - Project Management
Manage the full life cycle of pavement construction projects, from initial planning through to completion.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available and meet project specifications.
Assist with cost estimating, job costing, and contract management to maintain project profitability.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines are adhered to.
Oversee safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations on the job site.
Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including contracts, invoices, and progress reports.
Collaborate closely with the engineering, design, and field teams to ensure project quality and resolve any issues that arise.
Build strong relationships with customers and contractors, addressing concerns and providing updates.
Monitor and ensure adherence to pavement construction quality standards and regulatory codes for both asphalt and concrete work.
Supervise and mentor project team members, providing guidance and ensuring effective communication across all departments.
Assist with project closeout and ensure all documentation and requirements are completed.
