SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified 3PT Systems Administrator.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP's Tactical Solutions Business Area is currently looking for a Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. The Systems Administrator will work with a team to install and test 3PT software on the VM. Duties typically involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and maintain a Windows Desktop Virtual Machine that will be functional with the submarine combat system.
  • Will keep all STIGs up to date, maintain IA compliance, and have the ability to write configurations scripts.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
  • Trains staff on software applicable to their position, assists customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information System. Compliance with the Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives, including any required certifications

Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
