Overview
Sev1Tech is searching for an experienced Program Control Analyst to analyze, evaluate and forecast project status against an established baseline cost. The selected will prepare and maintain direct Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Prepare and monitor Estimates at Completion (EAC’s) and Estimates to Completion (ETC). Conduct financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.).
Other Duties includes:
Assist PMs with staying current on financial data relative to project.
Develop, implement, and maintain cost control on one or more projects.
Reconcile actual vs. budget costs per project monthly and identify any variances.
Review project set-up for all new contract MODS (WBS, POP, etc.) to ensure accuracy
Track employees and subcontractors incurred hours and dollars.
Submit monthly subcontractor accruals for all assigned projects.
Review expenses for each project for accuracy and correct project alignment.
Prepare financial/administrative reports and distribute to customers/user organizations.
Ensure adequate funding availability and submit timely requests for additional funding to the customer.
Understand unbilled data, accounts receivable and accounts payable relative to projects and assist in managing DSO.
Assist with reviewing government invoices for accuracy.
Assist with the preparation of customer reporting including CFSR’s and Business Management Reviews.
Assist in preparations and tracking of weekly and monthly status reporting.
Assist Project Managers to close out outstanding obligations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Location will Woodbridge, VA - hybrid. Expected to be in the office 4 days a week for the first 60 days and then 3 days a week after.
Responsibilities
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in project related finance using financial management software (SAP, Unanet, CostPoint) or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar related field.
Team player who thrives on getting the job done through individual and team efforts.
Strong attention to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Strong skills in standard desktop applications, specifically high-level Excel skills (insert pivot tables, V-lookup, and conditional formatting, etc.).
Ability to interact positively with internal and external stakeholders and all levels.
Must be Clearable or US Citizenship.
Strong Communication skills (verbal and written).
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve results amicably with and through others.
Inquisitive by nature and seeks out root causes for issues and opportunities.
Ability to delve into the details and mechanics while keeping a view on the high-level goals of the organization.
Flexible and adaptable with an understanding of the various functions, roles, responsibilities, and processes of a finance and accounting department.
