Transportation Electrification Program (TEP) Analyst 

Salary Grade: G06
Minimum  Midpoint  Maximum
$78,537 - $106,024 - $133,511

SUMMARY: 

Under direct supervision, the Transportation Electrification Analyst is responsible for providing specialized, technical, and analytical support to Transportation Electrification Manager by collecting and compiling information, evaluating issues and potential solutions, and recommending solutions related to the design and implementation of PNM¿s Transportation Electrification Program.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Collect, record, maintain and analyze quantitative and qualitative data in support of PNM¿s Transportation Electrification Program.

Research, compile, and synthesize best practices and examples from other electric utilities and state programs related to transportation electrification programs.

Responsible for environmental scanning to identify innovative policies and grant opportunities to support PNM¿s transportation electrification programs.

Prepare data, presentations, visual aids, and reports for regulatory filings, stakeholder outreach, and other transportation electrification related events.

Assist departmental staff in the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of PNM¿s Transportation Electrification Program.

Support development and design of future Transportation Electrification Programs as well as application and testimony in support of future program design.

Responsible for identifying market and industry trends related to transportation electrification

Responsible for benchmarking PNM TE program against industry peers

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMINUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor¿s degree in related field with 3 ¿ 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline. 

Master¿s degree preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must possess a current, legally valid driver¿s license and meet the company¿s driving record requirements at all times. 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations. 

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, presentations, and regulatory filings. 

Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 

Ability to perform statistical analysis and apply statistical and/or econometric concepts and methodologies to quantitative data sets.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Advanced experience with MS Office applications. 

Experience with statistical modeling software a plus. 

ANALYSIS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a wide variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 

DECISION MAKING:  

Ability to make well-reasoned and supported recommendations based on research and analysis. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to sit up to 2/3 of the time and to stand, walk, and stoop up to 1/3 of the time.  Good vision and manual dexterity is required.  Must occasionally life or move up to 10 pounds. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

Office environment.
