We are actively searching for a Project Coordinator, located in Maryland, Georgia, Texas to support our team. We have varying levels of this position, depending on years of experience and education.


Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support our Program Manager on an upcoming government contract. This role will involve managing project schedules, coordinating meetings, assisting with administrative program support tasks, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of program activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to effectively track schedules and deadlines across multiple workstreams.


Responsibilities

Develop and maintain program schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.

Support the Program Manager in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting notes and action items.

Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple functional teams.

Assist with developing, updating, and maintaining an integrated Master Program Schedule.

Facilitate weekly team meetings and provide status updates on schedule progress.

Coordinate the cross-functional scheduling of program activities across engineering, operations, and support teams.

Assist in administrative tasks such as document preparation, SharePoint file management, and tracking program deliverables.

Provide early identification of potential schedule risks or delays and assist in recommending mitigation strategies.

Maintain version control of project schedules and adhere to schedule management policies and procedures.


Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in scheduling, project coordination, or administrative support on government contracts or similar environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to create and update resource-loaded project schedules and integrated timelines.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience facilitating meetings and preparing meeting notes/action trackers.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and support a fast-paced program environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

Experience supporting a Program Manager or Project Manager on government or defense contracts.

Familiarity with SharePoint and collaboration tools.

Understanding of basic project management principles (critical path, dependencies, milestones).

PMP or CAPM certification (or coursework toward certification) is a plus.

The pay range for this role is:
130,000 - 150,000 USD per year(Maryland)
