What You Will Be Doing: Join our dynamic leadership team as the Chief Banking Officer (CBO), where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our revenue generating efforts. As a key member of our executive team, you will lead efforts to drive growth and enhance client experience, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The CBO oversees all client-facing banking teams, including private and professional practice, commercial and nonprofit banking, business development, and deposit/lending services. How You Will Get the Job Done:

  • Strategy: Develop and implement short and long-term strategies for the Bank's growth and profitability that maximize a safe loan portfolio, within lending guidelines approved by the Board of Directors, and primarily funded by core deposits. Serves as principal advisor to the CEO and President and executive team on all issues associated with leading and managing overall sales and production for the Bank. Monitors financial performance and develop strategies to improve revenue and efficiency. Holds production staff accountable for meeting or exceeding production goals and metrics (loans, fees and deposits) as outlined in the Bank's strategic plan.
  • Operational Oversight: Provides day-to-day leadership and operational direction for the bank's client-facing functions. This includes managing branch operations, supervising lending and deposit teams, monitoring daily performance metrics, resolving operational issues, and ensuring consistent execution of strategy at the ground level. Ensure that all departments work in alignment with company policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards, while driving productivity, accountability, and excellent client experience.
  • Leadership, Management & Accountability (LMA): Leads and mentors the banking leaders to build a high performing culture. Leads, manages and holds production leaders accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments and demonstrating a One Team mentality. Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, customer service, focus, simplicity and clarity. Maintains a strong leadership presence, motivating staff and building commitment to the Bank's priorities and direction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with executive leadership to align banking activities with the Bank's strategic plan. Develop relationships within and across teams to collaboratively achieve goals under our Customer Service Standards (defect free, timely, caring) to identify and act on new business opportunities and to deliver exceptional client experience.

Professional & Educational Experience You Bring: A Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University with emphasis on business or finance; minimum 15 years' experience in banking and 5 years of executive leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
