Network Engineer/ Network Infrastructure Expert - Military veterans preferred

EVS is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator (Network Infrastructure Expert) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and configuring network systems, with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 network infrastructure.
Administer and configure Firewall, IDS/IPS, CUCM, VoIP, and Wi-Fi systems.
Gather cable management requirements and ensure compliance with network standards.
Secure Cisco environments in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
Scope, architect, and design new LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
This position is contingent upon the award of the contract. The anticipated start date and scope of work will be determined based on the outcome of the interview process and the details of the awarded contract.



Requirements
Active Secret Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
DoD experience
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.
Minimum of six years of experience in the Information Technology field, demonstrating expertise in the following areas:
Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 infrastructure
Firewall, IDS/IPS, CUCM, VoIP, and Wi-Fi administration and configuration
Cable management and compliance
Security implementation in Cisco environments
Network infrastructure design and architecture

Skills:
Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies
Proficient in network security protocols and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
