Key Responsibilities:
Lead the RTR team in the regional accounting hub.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial numbers in the steady state.
Work closely with the Country CFOs and Country Finance Managers to establish authorization and control over significant accounting transactions.
Review and monitor the preparation of financial statements, statutory reports, and tax reports.
Coordinate internal/external audits and serve as a point of contact for auditor queries.
Drive the required cultural attributes across the team, including focus on compliance and service delivery.
Define the continuous improvement agenda for accounting processes and motivate the teams to deliver quality performance.
Qualifications & Key Requirements:
Experience of running finance teams within a shared service delivery/matrix set up
ACCA Qualification is an advantage
Strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements in relation to accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAPs in scope.
Experience of using modern Finance/ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud.
Knowledge of emerging trends and good practice in Record to Report process area
Good understanding of controls in a large and complex environment.
Strong understanding of risks and controls and demonstrated success in managing them.
