Description
The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Communications and Organization Project Manager to work in Woodlawn, MD.
***This position requires onsite work in Woodlawn, MD five days a week.***
Leidos is seeking a Communications and Organizational Project Manager with experience in Microsoft SharePoint and/or Confluence to support our internal and external communications efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing defined communication strategies, managing content on our SharePoint platform, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in communications, marketing, and SharePoint management, as well as exceptional writing and editing skill.
Day to Day Responsibilities:

Execute defined communication strategies that effectively promote our organization's brand and message.
Manage content on our SharePoint platform, including creating and updating pages, managing permissions, and ensuring content is organized and easy to navigate.
Work closely with stakeholders to develop content for internal and external communications, such as newsletters, press releases, and social media posts.
Write and edit copy for a variety of communications materials, ensuring that messaging is consistent, clear, and engaging.
Facilitate team challenges and recognition programs including soliciting nominations, collecting, and scoring nominations, coordinating meetings, and tracking data.
Analyze data and metrics to measure the success of communication efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
Stay up to date with emerging trends in communications and technology and recommend new tools and strategies to improve our communications efforts.
Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications):
This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field and 4+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, including experience managing content and permissions.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels.
Strong organizational skills and project management capability, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
