nou Systems, a Hemisphere IDIQ awardee, is pleased to announce the contingent opening for a Senior Systems Engineer who will join our Engineering Services team in El Segundo, CA and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs technical planning, high level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution (to include use cases, test procedures and test data), software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems
  • Total software system product may include concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
  • Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts
  • Contributes to development of new principles and concept.
  • Participates with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives
  • Recommends/makes decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives
  • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions, which are highly innovative and ingenious
  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product
  • Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications

Basic Qualifications:

  • You will need a Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience, Master’s with 12 years of experience, or PhD or JD with 9 years of experience
  • You must have an active TS clearance, with SCI eligibility
  • You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position

Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline and 10 or more years of systems engineering, and integration related or equivalent experience in a DoD acquisition program
  • Experience working in an acquisition development environment
