JobSummary:

The Electrical Engineer II is to be responsible for thedevelopment and implementation of all electrical design requirements for theproject. This person is to be familiar with all power generation, distribution,protection and related control systems as well as client provided specificationsand all applicable industry codes and standards. The Electrical Engineer coordinates withother disciplines to ensure an integrated design meeting the projectrequirements.

JobDuties and Responsibilities:

• Design in developing all electrical powergeneration, distribution, protection and related control systems for offshoreand onshore projects.

• Preparation and may review of electricalgeneration, distribution, rotating, communications and control equipmentspecifications and datasheets

• Preparation and may review of electricalsystem calculations utilizing ETAP or SKM

• Preparation and may review of constructiondrawings depicting equipment locations, wiring, tray layouts, equipmentinstallation, lighting, grounding, etc.

• Preparation and may review project/clientspecifications and requirements; provide alternatives and recommendations asrequired.

• Preparation and may review of layouts andplans for electrical buildings and facilities

• Preparation and may review of AC and DC loadlists from mechanical equipment lists and control systems documents.

• Preparation and may review of DC and UPSdistribution systems.

• Preparation and may review of electricaldrawings and construction packages

• Preparation and may review of Electrical Area Classificationdrawings

• Preparation and may review of test andcommissioning procedures

• Preparation and may review of electricalfabrication and construction details

• Provide support for the preparation ofPre-FEED and FEED cost estimates

• Provide engineering support to procurement ofequipment, skidded packages, and buildings

• Support and assist field engineering teamsduring construction, test and commissioning

• Test and commissioning of packages andelectrical systems

• International and domestic travel is required.

Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• The candidate must have a BS or MS (preferred)degree in Electrical engineering.

• Requires more than one (1) with less than five(5) years demonstrated experience designing and implementing electrical powergeneration and distribution systems for the offshore oil and gas industry,onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemicalmanufacturing, or refining.

• Demonstrated experience working within projectcentered multi-discipline teams

• Demonstrated experience preparing project costestimates.

• Demonstrated experience preparingspecifications for procurement, construction, testing and commissioning ofelectrical generation, distribution, rotating, communication and controlequipment such as generator sets, variable frequency drives, low voltage andmedium voltage motor control systems and switchgear, and integrated motorcontrol center buildings, distributed control systems, PLC panels, etc.

• Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate portionsof ANSI/NEMA/NFPA/API/UL/IEEE codes and standards

• Demonstrated knowledge of IEC standards andpractices

• Demonstrated experience leading factoryacceptance testing of package equipment.

• Demonstrated experience providing engineeringsupport to construction, testing, commissioning and startup of electricalfacilities.

WorkingConditions:

• Work is primarily conducted in an officeenvironment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but also requires occasionaltravel to off-site work locations;

• Field duties require outdoor work in aconstruction site type atmosphere;

• Interaction with other team members, as wellas supervisors and client personnel;

• Working on a construction site or in plantand/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels

• Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection;

• May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes;

• May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.

PhysicalRequirements (With or without Reasonable Accommodation):

• Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds;

• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing orother communication capabilities which permits employee to communicateeffectively;

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;
