JOB TITLE:? People Operations Administrator
DEPARTMENT:? People Operations
REPORTS TO:? VP of People Operations
The Administrator is responsible for assisting the VP of People Operations and the People Operations Department with all tasks. This position requires rotation in the on-call weekends coverage for the Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
* Assist with Onboarding and Offboarding employees
* Maintain employee personnel files; maintain pilot anniversary and FO pay lists
* Assist with Benefits Administration notifications regarding Dental, Vission, Medical and 401K
* Maintain company policies and procedures
* Assist with FMLA, OSHA, Workers Compensation documentation, and administration
* Assist with New Hire Orientation, which includes :
a) taking and documenting Fingerprints.
b) Distribution and review of Employee Handbook ( highlighting essential specifics)
c) Comprehensive Understanding of Medical Benefits and Flight Benefits
* I9 Management in ADP
* Workers Comp claims
* Assist with Promissory Note activities
* Assist with drug test notifications
* General office duties: phones, mail, filing, verifications of employment
This position does not directly supervise others.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education:
* High School Diploma
* Professional certification in Human Resources or related field, a plus
Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen as required by airline regulations or company policy
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1986
Work Experience:
* At least three (3) years working in a Customer Service
* Prior experience in an office setting
Physical requirements:
• Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position in a normal office environment.
• Must be able to communicate through verbal, written and electronic means.
• Must be able to access filing cabinets, drawers and shelves of varying height.
• Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis.
