Shift
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 2-3 hours per day between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Weekends: 3 hours total across Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Job Summary
Responsibilities:
• Provide care and maintenance for axolotls, including feeding, water quality monitoring, and cleaning tanks.
• Assist in monitoring animal health and behavior, including reporting any concerns to the lab coordinator.
• Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and observations.
• Follow all laboratory protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and ethical working environment.
• Assist lab coordinator with lab maintenance



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and follow protocols precisely. An interest in animal research and care.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience
Prior experience with animal care is preferred, but not required.
