Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking a Security Specialist to support the Special Access Program (SAP) Information Technology (IT) program under the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role you will provide administrative support to security and facility activities. 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of physical security data related to facility security status and requirements, vulnerabilities, accreditations, security container information, and facility manager documentation.
  • Assist with the implementation of Operations Security (OPSEC) policies, training aids, and resources.
  • Manage visit authorization requests and provide escorts for individuals, including facility maintenance personnel.
  • Support personnel security administration and personnel security data management.
  • Support meeting organizers with room configuration options and attendee access management, maintain room calendars.
  • Support inventory management of equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure proper lifecycle management of assets.
  • Support task assignments and completion, ensuring compliance with higher level guidance and timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum seven years related experience within a federal or DoD environment.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of DoD CIO and SAP IT.
