TRAVEL: As required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position


ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other Federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to support a Defense Health Agency (DHA) initiative.


SCOPE OF WORK
The Strategic Communications and Change Management Lead will be responsible for driving high-visibility initiatives that enhance communication and engagement efforts across federal/DoD programs. The candidate will plan, manage, and execute significant events, lead content production, and work closely with leadership to ensure clear and effective messaging. This role requires expertise in strategic communication, event management, and content development, along with experience collaborating across multiple teams.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic communications and change management initiatives.
  • Plan, manage, and execute high-profile events, conferences, and All Hands meetings.
  • Oversee the production of engagement deliverables such as newsletters, SMART books, QUAD charts, bios, stakeholder catalogs, and annual reports.
  • Develop content for leadership messaging, tear lines, and marketing materials.
  • Provide support for leadership with talking points, executive briefings, and coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Program Management Offices (PMOs) and branches on internal communications, transition messaging, and brand awareness.
  • Manage content and updates for internal SharePoint and web platforms.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of consulting or stakeholder engagement experience in federal or DoD programs.
  • Bachelor's in Communications, Media, or Graphic Design.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite a plus).
  • Experience with DoD-level messaging is highly desired.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Public Trust preferred.

REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.
