Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a program at Fort Johnson, Louisiana Berry Mission Training Complex (BMTC).
How Role will make an impact:
Maintains RMF servers for the MTC.
Builds, maintains, and configures all RMF servers.
Assists team members with updating standalone systems, Call Manager, and ASTi. Assists units and any other components during exercises.
Reviews STIGs and Best Business Practices (BBPs) to ensure all servers meet the required DISA, Army, and DoD standards.
Troubleshoots MCIS and other related system software issues.
Manages MCIS and other related systems with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and updates.
Provides IT technical support for the MTC, its functional training teams, and training units.
Coordinates and implements the MTC's RMF program, ensuring operational security for MTC information systems. Responsibilities include defining and implementing standard operating procedures, adhering to DoD, Army, and MTC policies, and creating Plan Of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for vulnerabilities identified in assessments and audits. The ISSO ensures security requirements and IT policies align with the organization's mission. They also coordinate with the technical branch to install the latest software, patches, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Additionally, the ISSO oversees the physical setup of facilities, configuration of networks, and end-to-end testing of systems as directed.
Expert understanding of National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), DoD, and Army Cybersecurity policies and best practices. Knowledge of industry methods for IT security assessment, monitoring, detection, and remediation using standards-based concepts. Familiarity with disaster recovery plans and enterprise incident response roles. Understanding of network security architecture, including topology and Defense-in-Depth principles.
Requirements:

Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
IAM II Certification (CASP) or capable of obtaining (CASP) IAM level II certification within 6 months of hire date.
EMASS experience.
Experience with system recovery, change management and knowledge of DISA/Army/DOD standards and STIGSs.
