nou Systems, a Hemisphere IDIQ awardee, is pleased to announce the contingent opening for a Principal Contracts Administrator who will join our Engineering Services team in El Segundo, CA and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Analyze estimates of material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions
  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization
  • Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures that may affect sections and subordinate work units

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree with 8 years, PhD or JD with 2 years of experience
  • You must possess or can obtain an active Top-Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility
  • You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARSUP), and applicable U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force contracting and procurement regulations
  • Certifications in relevant fields, such as Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting or Certified Federal Contracting Manager
  • Experience with contract award protest adjudication process
