Purpose It is to operate the machineries as described on the standard operation procedures. It is to inspect the machineries if they are performing to their designed capacities and are operating under the designed conditions, and to perform the minimum maintenance on them. To ensure the safety and quality of the products that the line produces.

Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability to perform the following duties.

  1. The standard quality of the products,
  2. How to operate the machineries to produce such quality of the products.
  3. Start up, during production and ending of the production.
  4. They also describe what documents need to be filed for each process.
    1. The material usage reports.
    2. The process monitoring reports.
    3. HACCP reports.
    4. Any others reports, which the management deem necessary or required to maintain the standard that the Company or the regulatory agencies set.
  5. Other tasks and duties as assigned.
  6. Specific tasks and function of each machine operator must be referred to
    1. The standard operating procedures,
    2. Specific programs such as allergen program.
    3. Specific process control procedures.
  7. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP’s)
    1. Maintain sanitary conditions of the production area.
    2. Use the designated utensils to transfer or to store any raw materials.
    3. Maintain your work area clean and free of any debris or the over flow products, including, but not limited to, sweeping surfaces and floors.
    4. Accumulate the over flow products into the designated containers.
    5. Dispose the defects to the designated containers.
    6. Pick up any spills or debris.
  8. Safety
    1. It is the first step to ensure the safety rules in effect are strictly followed at all times.
    2. It is also your essential task that you must make sure that the working condition is safe for the types of work that is conducted by you and your coworkers.
    3. You must not only report any unsafe conditions to your leader but also make sure that appropriate corrective actions have been taken.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to 9 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This job requires basic understanding of the production machineries and terminology of the machine parts.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills: Must understand basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). It is desirable if he or she understand fraction and percentages.
