Pricing Analyst
A. Harold and Associates, LLC is looking for qualified candidates for a Pricing Analyst position to support our corporate proposal efforts at our headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves overseeing the development of price and cost volumes in a fast-paced proposal environment. The Pricing Analyst will help plan, schedule, develop, review, and submit proposals that comply with company policies, procedures, and government regulations. This position is available as either part-time or full-time and can be done remotely.
Specific Duties and Job Requirements:
  • Collaborate closely with the proposal team, functional organizations, and management to develop cost proposals while ensuring compliance and adherence to schedules.
  • Prepare the Cost/Price Volume for submission, which includes proposal development, planning, and scheduling.
  • Compile costs, schedules, and technical elements in proposal development according to Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications, which involves creating outlines, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead and support the proposal team through analysis, writing, presentations, reviews, and production activities.
  • Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from various functional departments.
  • Research and analyze historical data to inform proposal efforts.
  • Develop cost models to support proposal efforts and conduct salary analyses as needed.
  • Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding meetings.
  • Engage in should-cost and pricing reviews with management, customer representatives, and the executive team.
  • Act as a member of the contract negotiating team, possessing knowledge and professional experience with various government contract budget types (e.g., Time & Material, Labor Hour, Fixed Price, Cost Type, and IDIQ).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree with over 3 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with more than 2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience in pricing and proposal analysis.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and other government regulations.
  • Understanding of the Service Contract Act (SCA), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other relevant government standards and regulations.
  • Ability to apply cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts and principles effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated persistence and tenacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
  • A team player who can work independently and proactively, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Experience/Education:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Earned Value Management is beneficial.
  • Past experience with salary surveys conducted by the Economic Research Institute (ERI) is also a plus.
