Are you an experienced HR professional ready to support a dynamic and mission-driven environment? We're looking for a Human Resources Support Specialist to join our team at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, where you'll play a key role in shaping workforce strategy and delivering people-focused solutions across a large, complex DoD organization.
What You'll Do:
Support core HR functions including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations
Consult with senior leaders and provide strategic HR guidance
Maintain compliance with DoD HR policies and safeguard PII through effective recordkeeping
Create and deliver executive-level presentations and training materials
Work collaboratively to identify and implement practical solutions to organizational challenges
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of HR experience in a large DoD environment
Strong knowledge of DoD HR principles, policies, and systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proven ability to engage with senior leaders and lead cross-functional initiatives
Bachelor's degree required (HR or related field preferred); Master's and HR certifications (SPHR/PHR) a plus
Must hold an active Secret clearance and be willing to travel internationally twice per year
