Join us as a Compliance Manager at DHL Supply Chain, supporting the Morrisons contract, where your expertise will drive the safe and efficient operation of our LGV fleet and contribute to the continued success of our transport team.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Ensure Legal and Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with all legal and safety requirements for LGV vehicles and drivers across the Morrisons contract.
• Manage LGV Fleet Repairs: Oversee the repair and maintenance process for the LGV fleet to ensure operational efficiency and safety
• Safety Audits and Reporting: Conduct regular safety audits and ensure proper reporting of any non-compliance issues, taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Support Transport Management: Collaborate with the Contract Transport Manager, driver trainer, and operations staff to assist with team management and operational improvements.

• Strong Knowledge of Transport Legislation: In-depth understanding of LGV regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements within the transport industry.
• Attention to Detail and Organization: Ability to manage multiple compliance tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure precise administration of training and fleet management.
• Excellent Communication and Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams, provide guidance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Capacity to identify compliance issues, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions effectively to maintain operational efficiency.
