Responsibilities

Basic Purpose
Creates, establishes, maintains, and enhances business relationships and ensures customer loyalty and mutual gains.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes business relationships through account management with assigned customer segments including commercial, industrial and government accounts with substantial energy usage. Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customers’ representatives to understand and link their needs to the organizations’ product and service strategies.
Functions as a single point of contact for the customer to address customer requests and concerns by providing customized solutions. Develops a positive influence on customers’ future decision to support Company’s as their energy service provider.
Develops and executes account management strategy and corporate account plans. Recommends solutions regarding concerns and questions.
Identifies and manages the customer and Company’s relationship development with a wide range of decision-makers in the customer organizations, i.e., Account Management, Legal, Production, Engineering, Finance, and other function areas as identified.
Minimizes all delinquency accounts through monthly account reviews. Monitors customer creditworthiness and minimizing financial risk. Manages accounts receivable balances; actively seeks to resolve delinquencies. Seeks and supports potential revenue enhancement opportunities for the company.
Develops strategies to improve customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in business, finance, marketing, engineering or a related field and 6 years of related experience.
Candidates that do not possess a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of:
  • Customer facilities and delivery issues
  • Marketing strategies.
Demonstrated skills such as:
  • Analytical, interpersonal and communication.
  • Establishing trust, maintaining confidence, understanding social behavioral cues
  • Influence and negotiation.
Equipment and Applications
PCs, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment. No special physical demands required.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $103,800 (Min) to $122,000 (Mid); Up to 15% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company. This is a non-represented position.
