A brief overview

As a Human Resources Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the HR department in various administrative tasks and gaining practical experience in HR functions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about and contribute to the smooth running of HR operations.

Duration of internship: six months

Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Hourly pay: $25.00

What you will do

  • HR Administration: handle paperwork and create HR-related reports; streamline processes.
  • Employee Records: file management; sort and scan personnel files.
  • Recruitment Assistance: assist with the marketing of jobs; organizing recruitment events and onboarding new hires.
  • Training and Development: assist in preparing training materials, scheduling training sessions, and evaluating training programs.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • Must have completed at least the equivalent of 50% of the requirements to graduate with a bachelor's degree (entering Junior year or higher).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
