Job Description:
Threat Tec is seeking a skilled and organized Scheduler to manage and coordinate flight, ground, simulator, and academic schedules at Hancock Field ANGB. The Scheduler will be responsible for determining scheduling requirements, managing simulator and flying events, and coordinating with various outside agencies to ensure mission readiness and resource allocation. This role requires a Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine flight, ground, and simulator scheduling requirements for upgrade, initial qualification, requalification, transition, currency, and continuation training, based on syllabus requirements, student progression, weather, equipment availability, and commander-directed programs.
- Schedule students and instructors for academic training, MQ-9 Simulators, and flying events in Patriot Excalibur (PEX) and TMS.
- Attend 174 ATKW Operations/Maintenance weekly meetings to stay updated on operational requirements and changes affecting scheduling.
- Build and maintain the weekly flying schedule shell, ensuring that all required training events are properly scheduled.
- Build and maintain the weekly MQ-9 Simulator schedule to ensure availability and readiness for training events.
- Coordinate with several outside agencies, including NEADs (airspace), JTAC contractors, ASOS units (JTAC), and 432nd Scheduling (RSO), to ensure that all mission needs are met.
- De-conflict daily and weekly combat and FTU schedules to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources and minimize scheduling conflicts.
- Provide the daily schedule via email to students, instructors, and other applicable unit members, ensuring that everyone involved is informed of training events.
- Coordinate necessary support requirements (e.g., JTACs) to facilitate desired training and ensure all resources are available to meet training objectives.
- Ensure all schedules are up-to-date, accurate, and meet the needs of the unit and training requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in scheduling, particularly in military or aviation training environments, with expertise in managing flight, ground, simulator, and academic training schedules.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Patriot Excalibur (PEX), TMS, or similar systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously, adjusting as needed based on changing conditions.
- Experience coordinating with multiple agencies and contractors to ensure mission needs are met and resources are available.
- Excellent communication skills to distribute schedules and updates to students, instructors, and unit members.
- Ability to de-conflict training schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
