POSITION SUMMARY
This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who likes working with customers to help recommend products and services that meet their needs, and enjoys selling while also staying compliant and making sure others do the same. This is a working Management position. This job requires you to work with customers on a daily basis through numerous channels including, but not limited to, working the teller line, opening accounts, and dealing with customer complaints. This role will also be the backup branch manager any time the manager is out of the bank.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Assist in managing the daily running of the branch including all Banker functions such as paying and receiving teller transactions, opening new accounts, making referrals of BancFirst products and all other Universal Banker duties.
Assist in managing the customer service level of the Universal Bankers and Tellers. Extraordinary customer service will be required of each employee at all times.
Perform all functions of the Universal Banker such as paying and receiving teller transactions, opening new accounts of all kinds, and making referrals of BancFirst products.
Assist in coaching, counseling and disciplinary action of branch personnel.
Be a leading compliance coach within the branch with the goal to increase sales production while remaining compliant.
Assist in the performance of the monthly score card performance reviews with each employee.
Responsible for giving compliance updates in weekly operational meetings.
Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
Responsible for performing audits, as they relate to federal, state, and bank policies, procedures and regulations including all cash audits, quarterly negotiable items audits and maintaining branch audit books. Must practice strong internal control procedures at all times.
Perform other job duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of sales tools and presentation.
Ability to motivate staff and assist in maintaining goals.
Knowledge of daily bank operations, including security issues.
Keen knowledge of federal, state, and bank policy, procedure and regulations as these relate to the Universal Banker duties.
Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in opening new accounts, servicing accounts, and working in a teller position.
Interact with other offices and departments for accurate resolutions to problems and errors, in addition to the timely completion of job tasks.
Flexible and able to work additional hours when needed.
Proficient in Horizon, Horizon Teller, IDO, and Connections.
Critical thinking, must work well under stress and deadlines.
Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all times.
Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank products and services.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports.
Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, and scanner.
Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear.
Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials.
Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags).
