Description:
Purpose: Five Star Bank is seeking a highly organized and detail-orientated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role will primarily support the Talent Acquisition Team in the recruitment and hiring efforts for Consumer Banking positions across our branch network. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional candidate experience and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Functions:
Support end-to-end recruitment efforts for Consumer Banking requisitions, including roles such as tellers, and bankers, developing a talent pool across our footprint and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
Conduct phone screens as assigned by requisition and talent acquisition team.
Source and engage passive candidates through job boards and social media establishing a network of qualified candidates to join Five Star Bank.
Coordinate and execute Summer Intern Programs, including recruitment, onboarding and program management.
Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met by candidates and hiring managers; including initiation and monitoring of pre-employment background and credit checks.
Lead onboarding process in collaboration with administration, information technology, training and hiring manager to ensure a positive and seamless experience.
Maintain documentation regarding NMLS Administration for required positions.
Manage requisitions and job descriptions via Applicant Tracking System (ADP) and external resources, such as job boards & social networking sites.
Participate in external events such as university recruitment, industry conferences, and career fairs. Supporting logistics of all campus events, including booking activities, logistics arrangements, collateral supply and coordination of attendees.
Ability to assess current administrative processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency. Assist Talent Acquisition team with adhoc projects and initiatives.
Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.
Job Related Qualifications:
Required:
Education: Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication or related field.
Prior Experience: 1+ years of experience in human resources internship, recruiting or sales support preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Competencies:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships characterized by Five Star Bank’s core values.
Understanding of recruitment best practice tools and methodologies.
Must have strong communication skills both verbal (i.e. telephone, virtual meetings, etc.) and written (i.e. email, presentations, etc.), including the ability to explain results at a level that resonates across many different audiences.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy, regarding regulation and pre-employment requirements.
Proven experience in researching, documenting, and escalating issues as required with an emphasis on migrating risk.
Proven experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously, strong prioritization and time management skills, self-directed, results-oriented.
Experience working in multiple information systems simultaneously and solid general database knowledge
Demonstrates flexibility and thrives in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment, with ability to juggle long-term goals and short-term deliverables
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Extensive computer usage is required.
