FP&A Operations Coordinator

SUMMARY:

The FP&A Operations Coordinator's principal responsibilities are to support the FP&A organization by assisting with updating analytical tools, models, and executing recurring reporting. The FP&A Operations Coordinator role is critical to day-today FP&A operations and plays a key part in preparing and maintaining financial reports and analyses used by senior leadership and cross-functional teams. An ideal candidate will have a foundation in finance or accounting, be highly motivated, detail oriented, curious, a problem solver, and collaborative. They will also have a process-oriented mindset and a passion for learning.

JOB DUTIES

  • Refresh monthly financial PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership by updating linked Excel files.
  • Partner with financial analysts to investigate and explain period-over-period variances.
  • Assist with monthly close processes.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Excel-based reports used by various business partners.
  • Update monthly Excel-based internal reports used for ongoing financial analysis.
  • Serve as a resource to other analysts in the development and review of financial models and reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires an associate's degree and two (2) years of experience in a role supporting Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis/Planning or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create, interpret, and troubleshoot basic formulas.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, courteous demeanor with frequent daily interaction across departments.
  • Fast learner with the ability to ask insightful questions and apply lessons from past mistakes.
  • Team player who works effectively with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Experience with PowerPoint a plus.
  • Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is a strong plus.
