Job Description:
Threat Tec is seeking a dedicated LMS / GTIMS Specialist for our operations at Holloman AFB. This position is responsible for maintaining the MQ-9 Learning Management System (LMS) and ensuring the effective operation of the GTIMS system, which is vital for accurate training documentation, grade sheet administration, and overall system functionality. The role requires IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8140 and AFMAN 17-1303, and a Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the MQ-9 LMS to ensure accurate and timely training documentation and grade sheet administration.
- Perform system administrator duties for both GTIMS and LMS, including assigning Wing-level permissions for GTIMS.
- Ensure that GTIMS operates effectively and efficiently, with minimal downtime.
- Manage the training database, working with the GTIMS help desk on rule-based syllabus requirements and pre-requisites. Assist squadron GTIMS Associates with setting up and configuring Programmed Flight Training (PFT) classes, including student names and relevant data, ensuring accurate and secure storage of all course grade sheets.
- Provide GTIMS and LMS user-level assistance and training to instructors, assisting the GTIMS help desk with installing GTIMS and LMS upgrades. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to the GTIMS and LMS systems, backup databases, and resolve database corruption issues.
- Load and maintain LMS courseware, ensuring the system remains current and functional.
Qualifications
- IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8140 and AFMAN 17-1303.
- Experience managing or administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or GTIMS.
- Strong understanding of database management and training documentation systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair LMS and GTIMS systems as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to provide user-level support and training.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in training documentation and database management.
- Ability to work independently and support a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must hold a Secret Clearance
