Job Description:
Threat Tec is seeking a qualified and experienced Joint Test and Training Operations Center (JTTOC) Mission Management Specialist (MMS) to manage the real-time air and ground space operations for training and test activities at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), Holloman AFB, and Fort Bliss training ranges. This position will serve as the subject matter expert and technical lead, coordinating with the JTTOC Coordinator and a variety of agencies to ensure the safe and efficient use of training ranges while de-conflicting air and ground space utilization. The position requires a Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage real-time air and ground space requirements as part of the execution of 49 WG training while resolving conflicts with all test missions.
- Resolve range air and ground space resource utilization conflicts according to established procedures, making real-time and short-range scheduling decisions to ensure resources are allocated efficiently. Communicate with contractors, tenants, and other government and civilian agencies to keep all parties informed.
- Coordinate daily with range support agencies to identify and address potential problem areas in real-time operations.
- Coordinate air traffic control and ground personnel activities in a real-time environment to ensure safety during integrated and concurrent range operations.
- Review the Center Scheduling Enterprise (CSE) products for timeliness and accuracy, ensuring all range time is allocated appropriately.
- Assist aircraft in maintaining their scheduled airspace and ensuring compliance with block and mission restrictions.
- Monitor the real-time schedule to ensure that critical airspace and resources are not left unused due to aircraft or test maintenance issues.
- Maintain operational awareness and coordination to support safe and efficient mission execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing real-time air and ground space operations in a military or related technical environment.
- Strong understanding of range operations, air traffic control, and resource management for integrated training and test missions.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively collaborate with contractors, government agencies, and civilian personnel.
- Ability to make real-time scheduling decisions and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review schedules for accuracy and ensure resources are optimally utilized.
- Security Clearance: Secret
