Description

Are you eager to dive into system analysis and contribute to solving key operational challenges? The Associate System Analyst is an entry-level position designed to help you learn all things DoD and system-related in Operations. In this role, individuals partner with key collaborators both internally and externally to resolve issues, address system enhancements, and support Dental on Demand (DoD) functionality. The position also leverages the System Analyst I as a resource for learning and development.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $52,140.00 – $72,900.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $47,400.00 - $66,300.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

Essential Responsibilities include the following: The list of responsibilities listed is not intended to be comprehensive.   • Collaborate with various departments, release management, and testers to support the development of user stories.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing as part of the testing process.
  • Work with System Analyst I to acquire knowledge of DDWA systems, technology, business processes, and the company’s strategic goals.
  • Translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Provide backup to the System Analyst I in managing failed ERA and EOB files/extracts.
  • Manage and prioritize the distribution of requests in the Operations Analyst inbox, responding in a timely manner with acknowledgment and updates.
  • Synthesizing input from multiple sources to develop creative solutions and recommend improvements.

Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

  • Two years of experience working with provider, member, or clinical information, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting.
  • Basic understanding of operations systems, with experience in documentation and process mapping.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Experience in process improvement, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and solutions.
  • Collaborative teammate, with experience working across departments to achieve operational goals.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset, eager to learn and apply new systems, tools, and technologies.
  • Ability to recognize when additional guidance is needed and proactively seek support on complex problems.
