We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Native Women's Health Care - RN - Primary Care, who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. This individual must be able to act with both efficiency and care, ensuring the well-being of our people. The RN - Primary Care will take on a primary role in caring for patients, fostering a relationship built on trust, and collaborating with others in the healthcare team. Together, staff will provide care that honors our traditions, meets the needs of the community, and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive respectful experience for both patients and their families.
Requirements:
Specialty: RN - Primary Care
Licensure: South Dakota or compact state RN license (required)
Certifications: ACLS and BLS (current)
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinic nursing experience required. Prior experience in outpatient care or similar settings preferred.
Job Duties
Plans, implements, evaluates, and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation, annual and ongoing education, and clinical practice.
Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.
