Horton, Inc. has an opening for a Quality Engineer to work at our location in Roseville, MN. This job is onsite Monday-Friday.
Position Summary:
Evaluates manufacturing and quality processes to deliver quality improvement and meet customer requirements. Provides recommendations to the operations team and executive staff on methods and best practices to improve product quality. Requires the use of quality tools best practices to achieve results and monitor improvement.

Quality Engineer - Responsibilities:
1. Supports Quality System Improvements and Operations.
2. Project Leader for Continuous Improvement Projects to deliver Quality Improvement.
3. Uses Data and Problem-Solving skills to recommend Quality Improvements.
4. As with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned to support the overall success of the company.
Quality Engineer - Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent, and broad experience in production or manufacturing engineering (2-5 years).
Green Belt certification is preferred with emphasis in Industrial machining, metal forming and plastic injection molding experience.
IATF knowledge is preferred but not needed.
Ability to travel nights away up to 20% including International travel. Travel from 5-15% day travel trips to the manufacturing plants.
Additional Information:
The estimated hiring range for this position is $78,000 - $94,000 per year plus bonus. Compensation will increase within the range based on experience and qualifications.
