Qualifications



RS&H is currently seeking an Associate Project Director to join our team in Orlando, FL!

 

 

In this role you will serve as an Associate Project Director on the FDOT D5 I-75 Moving Florida Forward (MFF) Owner’s Rep Team.

 

Job Functions: 

 

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the Design and Plans Production of one of the two major Design Build Projects of the I-75 MFF Program.
  • Tasks include preparing scope of services; coordinating staff hour negotiations; managing project design schedules; processing contract invoices and contract amendments; coordinating construction plans and specifications reviews, and right-of-way acquisition activities.
  • Interacts extensively with Design-Build Contractor Staff, FDOT Staff, as well as other consultants on the Owners Rep Team who provide design support and plans/specifications reviews.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited program and 12 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Engineer, Registered Architect or Interior Designer, and/or Licensed General Contractor is preferred.  
  • Have a passion for project management. PMP certification is preferred.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office. 
  • Possess strong attention to detail, commitment to follow through, and ability to work independently following general direction and oversight from leadership.
  • Be able to multi-task, prioritize workload, set priorities, and manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Possess the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, demonstrate professional courage, and guide and influence others.
