Overview

Lutron is seeking an Instructional Designer to join our Customer Education Team at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg PA. This role involves creating engaging and interactive eLearning deliverables. As a key member of the Customer Education team, you will serve as the primary contact for instructional design projects across our residential, commercial, and retail sectors.

• Lead the development and delivery of instructional design projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Services groups to define, design, and develop instructional materials, including:
  • Web-based modules
  • Software simulations
  • Instructional videos
  • Performance support tools
• Foster strong relationships and promote a collaborative approach with team members across departments.
• Manage expectations of clients and internal departments.
• Stay updated on trends in eLearning and instructional design, integrating new practices into training deliverables.

• Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field required
• Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA required for all degrees earned
• 1-3 years of experience as an instructional designer / developer
• Portfolio that shows prior applicable work / projects
• Demonstrates knowledge of instructional models and best practices
• Strong understanding of Articulate Storyline, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Basic LMS use, Basic Sound Recording and Video Filming
• Must be located within a commutable distance of Coopersburg PA to accommodate in-office schedule
