Responsibilities

  • Time studies
  • Operation method sheet (OMS) creation and revision
  • Bill of Material and process routing maintenance
  • Workstation layout design
  • Cost analysis and reduction
  • Process evaluation and improvement
  • Lean, Kaizen, 6S and Value Stream Mapping activities


Qualifications

  • Basic experience with data analysis.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, with a special emphasis on Excel

This role would be a full-time, onsite internship in Jacksonville, NC from May-August 2025. A housing stipend will be provided to qualifying candidates in addition to an hourly wage.

 

Education and experience required

Incumbent should be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering at an ABET-accredited school and have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year.
