Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Office Assistant to join our Engineering Office in Boston, MA. In this role, you will be an integral part of our engineering support team, collaborating closely with senior leaders and team members. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize the engineers' time and uphold our corporate image by effectively representing senior leaders both internally and externally. You will act as a crucial liaison between senior leaders, key stakeholders, customers, and employees.



Responsibilities

  • Acts as the liaison for the senior leadership team: Welcomes visitors, reviews correspondence, arranges company dinners and corporate functions, answers questions, and manages meeting requests.
  • Coordinates corporate travel and meetings: Develops detailed itineraries and agendas, schedules air travel, books transportation, arranges lodging and meeting accommodations, and handles expense report submission and reconciliation.
  • Manages office supplies, equipment, and operations: Oversees the ordering and inventory of office supplies and equipment while maintaining general office organization and management to support efficient workflow 
  • Executes projects and special assignments: Establishes objectives, prioritizes tasks, manages time effectively, collaborates with others, monitors progress, solves problems, and adjusts plans as necessary..
  • Boosts the reputation of the senior leadership team and corporation: Takes ownership of new and diverse requests, explores opportunities to add value, and contributes to the overall success of the organization.


Qualifications



  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience including calendar coordination, travel logistics, planning corporate functions, and meeting management
  • Must be located within commutable distance of Lutron's Boston office to accommodate in-office schedule
