Journeyman Data Engineer 4

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Clearance: Active Top-secret

The Journeyman Engineer 4 provides strategic, technical, and programmatic advice concerning ways in which emerging capabilities in high performance scientific and visual modeling for the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Analysis Center (DAC). DEVCOM/DAC is the Army’s focal point for data analysis and Modeling and Simulation (M&S) from component to force-on-force level models for the Army’s Future Force Modernization Enterprise (FFME).

• · Conduct analytical investigations, modeling and simulations, and laboratory and field experiments to support the Army’s overmatch in a contested and congested electromagnetic spectrum.
• · Use modeling and simulation, and conduct analyses, generate data, and determine the performance of materiel systems.
• · Review results from testing and analyze test data.
• · Use data from all sources to formulate performance for real, modified, or hypothetical materiel systems against requirements and other comparative systems.
• · Evaluate systems used for chemical weapons demilitarization.
• · Develop methods, generate and analyze data, and perform comparative analyses necessary to verify and validate models in support of model accreditation.

Required:

• · A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5 years’ experience.
• · Top Secret clearance required.
