First Line Manager - Warehouse - Military veterans preferred

Pay Rate: £30,000 - £32,606.84
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Rotational - Any 5 from 7 (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)
Location: Coventry - CV2 2TA

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards and defined outcomes for your responsibility area / shift approach
• To ensure current processes are established on Work Instructions and trainings
• To identify and bring new standards to operation
• Ensure the team applies the Safety Standards and relevant guidelines

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Managerial experience - 12-18months (Essential)
• Previous operations experience
• Ability to manage a team
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Various MHE licences, is an advantage

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received.
