Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Systems Administrator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills to join a mission-focused enterprise IT program in Chantilly, VA. This is an opportunity for you to use your multi-disciplinary expertise to support production of multimedia products in the planning, development, testing, certification, implementation, and maintenance of current and future Apple and Windows based multimedia systems, applications, and networks crossing multiple domains.

In this role you will:

  • Take initiative and exercise resourcefulness to identify, research, and resolve technical problems, and provide support to other mission support systems while using your stellar customer service and interpersonal skills to work with multiple levels of stakeholders,
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and applications,
  • Provide supporting data and documentation for systems and applications accreditation processes and change requests,
  • Verify system, application, and configuration changes through testing and change management processes,
  • Collaborate with the Tier 3 development and security teams to share and obtain information on routine and non-routine maintenance, and troubleshoot common systems, and their interactions with command systems infrastructure,
  • Manage device management software in a mixed environment of MacOS and Windows operating systems,
  • Create and administer Apple operating system installation and application packages, and provide patch management for applications and servers,
  • Create and update scripts using PowerShell and Bash,
  • Configure, test, and implement requirements in accordance with Government IT security policies,
  • Review incidents, identify problems, apply problem solving, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills, and address them to resolution,
  • Assist with asset inventory, to include lifting and moving equipment.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of work experience, additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with CentOS Linux system administration
  • Experience creating and updating scripts using PowerShell and Bash
  • Experience providing Systems Administration specializing in Apple hardware and MacOS operating systems or willingness to learn
  • Ability to conduct physical inventories, which may include lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
