About the Role

We are eager to discuss the prospect of you joining our team as our next incredible team member! This position reports to VP Loan Operations and Servicing at our IncredibleBank Support Center in Wausau, WI and allows you to grow at your own pace, meaning the opportunities are endless for advancement on our team!

In this role, you will have an opportunity to partner with team members and key stakeholders to provide Incredible Customer Experiences of your own by completing tasks such as:

  • Prepare comprehensive business loan documentation in strict adherence to the Bank’s policies, procedures, and all relevant compliance regulations.
  • Possess a deep understanding of highly complex commercial loan products and documentation, encompassing the entire process from loan application receipt to the preparation of closing loan documents, funding, and integration into the core bank system.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on intricate commercial loan transactions, including commercial real estate, multi-product transactions, multi-entity transactions, consumer loans, and special lending requests.
  • Serves as mentor, addressing complex inquiries from various business partners and external vendors related to pertinent borrower, property/collateral, and documentation information.
  • Provides insight into both new and current Bank policies and procedures.
  • Prepares executed loan packets for booking and coordinates with Loan Servicing to ensure booking occurs within three business days of document signing.
  • Coordinate loan transactions with third parties including appraisers, title companies, real estate agents, and others.
  • Handles customer correspondence, including RFP’s, proposals, commitment letters, financial reporting requests, and covenant waivers.
  • Serves as the primary or secondary contact for business customers, addressing inquires related to loan history, payment applications, transfers, stop payments, wires, and more.
  • Attend and assist with loan closings and customer calls as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Credit Department to ensure the timely and efficient underwriting of new loan requests, renewals, and modifications.
  • Review loan presentations for accuracy, ensuring all compliance requirements are met before releasing final loan documents.
  • Maintain Business Banking Officers’ loan production, fee income, pipeline, and call or referral reports via the Bank’s CRM.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in interpreting and understanding credit approvals, due diligence, title commitments, formation documents, and more.
  • Train and mentor Commercial Banking Administrators and Portfolio Administrators.
  • Serve as a backup to the Commercial Banking Administrator, Assistant, and Luxury Lending Specialist.

This is a full-time salaried exempt position, 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday.

This position will work on-site at our IncredibleBank branch location in Wausau, WI on 17th Avenue or at any other IncredibleBank branch where space is available.

  • Over 5 years of experience in business loan and legal documentation, as well as the business lending process.
  • Advanced expertise in lending regulations, closing procedures, and title and insurance policies.
  • In-depth knowledge of specialized lending areas, including Small Business Administration loans, participation loans, and SWAP transactions.
  • Proficiency in bank core processing software, including Baker Hill, NexGen, LaserPro, and Jack Henry Silverlake.
