Overview

Reporting to the Core Product Group Manager, the ideal candidate will effectively support technical, pricing, and marketing related deliverables for interconnect products being sold into the commercial and military aerospace markets. This candidate will also interact daily with product managers, engineering, sales representatives, distributors, procurement professionals,  and end customers in support of ITT Cannon’s market growth strategies.



Responsibilities

  • Interface with the engineering, operations, and procurement teams to build accurate costs for new products in order to meet customer expectations for turnaround time on quotations for new products.
  • Support product cost and market price analysis in coordination with the product manager to improve margins and closure rates on quotes and contract pricing agreements – achieve a minimum 15% quote closure rate on relevant product lines.
  • Provide sales support in the form of samples and product-related information to the sales team, our distributor network, and end customers. Ensure rapid delivery of required sales samples and industry-leading marketing material to support field operations.
  • Provide marketing communications support as directed by the Product Manager – build and execute a plan that includes a minimum of 1 marketing content release per quarter.
  • Provide project management support as directed by the Product Manager – ensure Value Based Product Development (VBPD) projects and product launches are executed in accordance with the product roadmap.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Core Product Group Manager.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline
  • Minimum Education Requirements BS/BA Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Product Management, Pricing, Sales, or Customer Service in the Aerospace industry
  • Familiarity with electrical interconnect products is a plus
  • Percent of Travel required approximately 10%
