Job Description:
Position is contingent on Contract Award.
Provide Barstow site management. May perform as Assistant Project Manager, if assigned and requested. Act as Shop Site Manager during his/her absence. Keep Project Manager informed of all situations. Establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules, methods, and policies established by higher levels of supervision. Manage and monitor how many assignments can be done concurrently, which ones must be delayed, and the number and types of employees needed considering skills, personnel, materials, and equipment available required for performing up to and including Army General Support Level Maintenance, refurbishment repair tasks, and inspections on various types military wheeled and track equipment and other equipment as required. Serve as the technical and administrative supervisor over the Maintenance, Supply, and Storage Branch. Responsible for ensuring replacement parts are ordered, ensuring refurbishment procedures are accurately followed & documented, managing mechanic assignments, providing OJT, ensuring mechanics enter work time daily & use proper project codes, and ensuring mechanics maintain production schedules. Responsible for Quality Assurance of all work to include safety and maintenance programs. Assist the Shop Site Manager in development of strategy and production level for improvements. Clearly communicate job expectations/consequences of employees by managing, training, cross training, coaching, and counseling.
Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree Preferred
- Substitute 1 year relevant experience for 1 year education
- Experience: 5 years Required; 8 years Preferred
- Clearance: Secret
