SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Subcontracts Internship 2025.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORPS Subcontracts Internship will take placeat our main campus in Middletown, RI. Interns will gain hands onexperience with government contracts and subcontract management.

Job ResponsibilitiesInclude:

  • Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and perform cost/price analysis.
  • Negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Record subcontracts transactions in Costpoint database including funding allocations and deobligations.
  • Review and process invoices, support audits, participate in proposal/pricing drills, and assist with executing Subcontract closeouts.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams in support of Navy contracts.
  • Prepare reports on subcontract metrics.
  • Learning about the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • A Solid understanding of data entry.
  • Organizational Skills.
  • General familiarity with customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

Education: Mustbe pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance. Please note that anacademic transcript must be submitted.

Experience: Noprior experience required.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
