Manage an existing loan and deposit portfolio as well as the solicitation of new business

 

The management of existing customers consists of handling new loan requests, the timely renewal of maturing loans, and overseeing customer’s deposit and treasury management service needs

 

Solicitation of new business includes the pursuit of loans as well as deposit accounts and corresponding treasury management needs

 

Consumer and Small Business loan underwriting

 

Referrals to BancFirst Trust, Mortgage and Insurance departments

 

Conduct outside client and prospect sales calls

 

Network through community involvement


Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position

REQUIREMENTS

 

Skilled in conducting outside client and prospect sales calls

 

Knowledge of loan documentation and lending practices with emphasis on Real Estate lending

 

Ability to sell bank products including deposit products, loans and lines of credit, and cash management services  

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications

 

Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules

 

Critical thinking skills

 

Must work well under stress and deadlines 

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

1-2 years lending experience and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports

 

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile

 

Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear  

 

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials

 

Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10 pounds
