About the role
The Forterra"s Hardware Product Development team seeks an Engineering Project Manger who is highly organized, capable of maintaining multiple projects at once, and is able to work cross-functionally with adjacent development teams. This includes everything from PI planning to work load balancing, maintaining development schedules, and communicating progress and risks to relevant stakeholders.
What you"ll do
- Be a key member of Forterra's fast paced Hardware Product Development team.
- Track project timelines, progress, and deliveries, including the PDLC gate process, through project planning.
- Track and report project risks.
- CFT formation, meeting cadence and monitoring of action items.
- Ensuring Program requirements are met across HW and SW teams.
- Be the acting scrum master for the Hardware Product Development Team.
- Decomposition of work into tasks and assignment of work to responsible teams through other scrum masters and tech leads.
- Optimize project performance by analyzing inter-dependencies between teams and implementing efficient solutions.
- Determine if quarterly product goals and meet the needs of customers and end users.

- Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, MS Project, Jira).
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience running technical projects related to hardware or software design and development (more senior project managers are welcomed to apply, the position may be adjusted based on experience).
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a project management career.
- PMP/CAPM certification or interest in obtaining one is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile Development.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required. Business, Management, Communications, Engineering, or any related field are preferred.
US Salary Range
$100,000—$150,000
Location:
5 Days a Week Onsite in Clarksburg with Occasional Travel up to 10%
The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra's overall compensation package.
